Meet The Team

Craig Maples, DO, Physician & Founder
Craig Maples is an Osteopathic Physician who is board-certified in hands-on care known as Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. He obtained his medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center – Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas, where he received honors in Osteopathic Principles and Practices and awards for his commitment to Osteopathic Medicine. After medical school, he completed residency training in Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine at Mountainview Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico, where he was Chief Resident. His training focused on hands-on Osteopathic Manipulation and ultrasound-guided procedures.
Additionally, Dr. Maples has sought out continuing medical education in Biodynamics, Fascial Distortion Model (FDM), Osteopathy in the Cranial Field (“Cranial”), Viscerosomatic Release, Ligamentous Articular Strain, Arterial treatments, and Osteopathic treatment of mood and anxiety disorders.
Dr. Maples received his bachelor’s degree in Humanities, with a minor in Biblical studies, from BIOLA University in California in 2008. He met his wife, Megan, while attending. After college, he entered a career in Emergency Medical Services and worked as an EMT in Southern California. They moved to Texas in 2010, where he became a lead Paramedic at MedStar Mobile Healthcare, covering Fort Worth, Texas. This experience led him to go to medical school.
On a medical mission trip to Honduras during medical school, Dr. Maples was able to use the hands-on Osteopathic Manipulation he had learned in class to help several people in a unique and lasting way. Also during medical school, Dr. Maples was able to use what he had learned to resolve Megan’s back pain she had for years which was unsuccessfully treated in many other ways. These experiences led him to pursue Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine as a specialty, with a particular passion for helping hurt people who felt forgotten by medicine, friends, and family.
The Maples have 4 boys, the 4th of which was born during medical school. They have lived in California, Texas, and New Mexico, and are excited to now call Colorado home to raise their boys. As a family, they like to visit National Parks, camp, and hike. The boys also make sure to get in several wrestling matches with dad every week and seem to have no regard for furniture, décor, walls, or anything else that can, and will, be broken.

Megan Maples, Office & Marketing Manager
Megan Maples is the Office and Marketing Manager at Still Point Osteopathic Care. She attended BIOLA University, where she studied Elementary Education, and spent years teaching preschool, elementary music, and fifth grade, and dedicated a decade to raising her and Craig’s four boys as a stay-at-home mom.
Megan’s journey with Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) is personal. After struggling with back pain for 10 years and trying countless treatments, Craig, then a medical student, used basic OMM techniques on her—and the pain never returned. From that moment on, she was hooked. Throughout Craig’s medical school years, she eagerly invited friends and family who mentioned any pain over to their home, confident that OMM could help them, too.
Her passion turned into advocacy in 2016 when Craig began medical school at TCOM in Fort Worth, Texas. Megan became deeply involved in the osteopathic community, serving on the board of the TCOM Student Advocate Association (SAA) for four years, including two as Vice President and President. She represented the organization at national advocacy meetings in 2018 and 2019 and was chosen as the recipient of the Donna Jones Moritsugu Award by TCOM, which is a national award that celebrates the spouses of graduating osteopathic medical students and honors them for their support and advocacy during med school. She later expanded her leadership on the board of the Advocates for the American Osteopathic Association (AAOA), where she served as Director in 2020, Vice President in 2021, President-Elect in 2022, and President from 2023–2024.
Megan and Craig love raising their four boys in Castle Rock. She enjoys hiking, cooking, having family game nights, being creative and she’s always up for grabbing coffee with friends.
